Words of Wisdom (not the birthday kind)

I received this from Scott Baker today. It is true and it is relavant very much today.

A time exempt message from a great man.

Dr. Adrian Rogers (now deceased)

“Friend, you cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. And what one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government can’t give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody. And when half of the people get the idea they don’t have to work because the other half’s going to take care of them, and when the other half get the idea it does no good to work because somebody’s going to get what I work for. That, dear friend, is about the end of any nation.”

The Newest Addition is on it's Way!

So, I think it's a little past time for this, but it's better late than never right?! I have two pictures to post to the family blog. The first is my initial proof of pregnancy and the second is much better proof - the little Redwine's first photo! Enjoy!

I also have my base-line "tummy" photo, but it's not on the computer yet. I guess it'll have to come with the first comparison photo (not yet, but probably soon).

So much to Doo

This week Wichita Falls was graced with a nice layer or 3 of ice. Obviously school in this podunk town was cancelled leaving me and mom with two days of relaxation. 

The nemesis of the brave house pet. 

This is what happens when you take a little white dog and put him inside away from the frigid cold weather.  A fearless Dexterdoo is transformed from an energetic crazy dog into the lethargic animal you see here... pitty.

i would just like to say that my lack of communicating on this blog is due largly to the fact that i cant post while on my phone. that is my explanation for why my one post is simply a title. i apologize and look forward to many interesting posts and comments
